History:
EEA was founded in 1977 and incorporated with the name Energy Engineering Associates, Inc. Michael N. Hart, PE was a co-founder for the company and is currently the President of the firm. EEA has won multiple awards over the years, including being named a Top Workplace by the Austin-American Statesman and a MEP Giant by Consulting-Specifying Engineer magazine. They have grown significantly from their inception, adding more employees and services over the 38 years the company has been in the consulting business. EEA is currently a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, AABC Commissioning Group, the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce and a participant in the Austin Green Building Program.
