History
Kimley-Horn is an interdisciplinary engineering firm based out of Raleigh, North Carolina. The three founders, Bob Kimley, Bill Horn, and Ed Vick founded the company in 1967. The company employs around 5,000 employs in over 90 offices. In 2020, Kimley-Horn ranked 13 on Fortune’s “100 Best Companies to work for.” The current CEO, Steven Lefton, leads the company towards the technology of tomorrow; venturing into territory such as electric transportation and solar projects.
