History:
KCI first started as a small firm operating from a basement in Baltimore County, Maryland. By the 1980s, it had merged with three other companies and began to expand through the Mid-Atlantic. In 1987, KCI initiated an employee buyout, making it the largest employee-owned company in Maryland in 1988, and has remained entirely employee-owned since, as well as expand across dozens of states in the United States.
KCI Technologies strives to find solutions to infrastructure and environmental challenges, and are personally and professionally invested in their projects.
