Grohmann, Manfred

Manfred Grohmann was born in 1953 in Emmershausen, Germany. As of right now he is currently a partner at Bollinger+Grohmann. He also attended the Technical University of Darmstad where he received a degree in structural engineering. After receiving his degree he worked at Wayss + Fretyag, and as scientific assistant at the University of Darmstad (1).Grohmann is a practicing engineer, but since 1996, he has been a structural engineering professor at the Universität Gesamthochschule Kassel. His knowledge has also allowed him to be visiting professor at Städelschule Frankfurt am Main and at the ESA Ecole Speciale d’Architecture in Paris (2). Grohman also dedicates time to write articles about engineering, and his work has been published in the Architectural Design Journal. In March 2008, he co-wrote an article that talked about the Multi-Parametric Structural Design, and in July 2010, he explained the Evolutionary Processes in Design Engineering.
