History
Bay & Associates was founded in August 2000 by Ed Bay, who has worked with some of the leading National Developers and Architects on a wide array of projects.

“In retrospect, August 2000 may not have been the best time to begin a new company. Austin was on the brink of the dot-com bust. The entire economy soon would slow with the technology sector. The firm started out with four professionals with a “can-do” spirit and a philosophy of doing business a different way. With the hard work and dedication of this small group, the company soon thrived and grew during a time when other firms were shrinking.

Ed brought more than 20 years of mechanical engineering and project management experience from Houston- and Austin-based consulting engineering firms. And the new firm delivered what clients needed—engineering solutions tailored to meet their budgets and expectations.

The result was a solid foundation of return business. And return business—which continues to hit 80% or better—fueled growth. Bay & Associates, Inc. now employs a full time staff of 18, including three licensed professional engineers and, as of this writing, 9 LEED AP professionals.” (Source)
