“Kishimoto.Gordon.Dalaya PC, operating as KGD Architecture, was founded in McLean, Virginia in 1995 by Ben Kishimoto and Christopher Gordon as Kishimoto.Gordon PC, a minority-owned company. Much of the firm’s early work leveraged the new partners’ experience in large scale corporate buildings but made early forays in future core markets like multifamily, interiors and hospitality. Manoj Dalaya joined the firm as Principal in 2003, giving rise to the Firm’s current name.
The Firm’s second decade saw continued expansion across diverse markets, serving the most pressing needs of our time in the national security, science, and technology sectors.
Twenty-six years after its inception KGD Architecture, with five principals in the leadership, remains a minority-owned Virginia corporation, headquartered in Washington, DC, with additional offices in Arlington, Boston, and Bangkok. We have received accolades and recognition from our customers, peers, and industry for design excellence and environmental stewardship.
