Studio Mentor Program

UT ArchE Studio Mentor program – 2 hrs./semester, at your office.
To our Austin professional firms,
We invite you to inspire the next generation of architectural engineers by joining our Studio Mentor program!
The purpose of the Studio Mentor program is to:
– Connect professional firms with UT to encourage more interaction and dialogue.
– Create opportunities for UT ArchE students to informally present their student project designs and receive feedback from experienced professionals.
Studio Mentor time commitment:
– Maximum of 2 meetings per student, per semester (typically one hour each). Meetings would be at the mentor’s office.
– Attendance at the end-of-year Student Show / celebration ( typically in late April).
How to get started:
Please identify 2 or 3 members of your office to be potential mentors. We ask that each mentor have 4 or more years of professional experience.
Contact Prof. Gregory Brooks via email to let us know that you are ready to participate in the Studio Mentor program!
