Backround:
Born November, 17 1944, Rem Koolhaas began his career as a film journalist and scriptwriter. After studying architecture in London and Ithaca, he founded OMA (Office for Metropolitan Architecture) in 1975, which continues to grow and oversee projects all over the world. He is also a published author writing ‘Delirious New York’, ‘S,M,L,XL’, and ‘Project on the city’, all of which deal with the connections between architecture and urban areas. While being a Harvard professor of architecture, he also continues to have a hand in many projects through OMA.
